Daylight technology model

The model (M 1:50) is mounted on a ball head and swivels (the back panel represents the existing building). A sun dial is attached to the model in accordance with the orientation of the building (see next picture).
The lighting situation at any time of year or day can be set on the basis of the sun dial by swivelling the model during sunlight.

Realistically illuminated model photos can be made using round openings in the side walls of the model which can be blocked off.

If you put your eye close to these openings, the eye adapts to the lighting situation in the model and provides a realistic impression of the room, unlike the usual sectional models, in which one side remains open for examining the interior.
